All weekend long, many of the city’s most famous buildings are opened to the public to explore and admire. More than 250 sites will be available this year, including Art Deco theaters, modern buildings, historic farm houses and more. New York City Marathon

Come out and cheer for runners at this year’s New York City Marathon and they race their way through all five boroughs and Central Park for 26.2 miles. This year marks the 47th year the road race has taken place in New York, and there are a variety of spots. The race begins on Staten Island, and the half-way point is in Brooklyn’s Green point, just before crossing the Pulaski bridge into Queens.
